With Aramane's Release it seems like Ganesh has tried to find some new ground. After a string of movies pecking on his comedy, one liners and the popular rain concept here comes Aramane which puts a full stop to all that and gives more relavence to story rather than just timepass.
Ganesh and AnathNag combo does'nt seem to end at all and here too they come up with a clinical performance. Hats of to AnanthNag who just seems to be getting better by the day and the emotions seem to be moted very well. Ganesh an ordinary photographer meets Ananth Nag a wealthy businessman. Ananth Nag has lost his belief in life and is a alltime drunkard. Ganesh takes up the challenge to bring back hope into Nag's life. What the challenge is and how it is taken up by Ganesh is the main plot. The screenplay is dragged in the first half but picks up well into the second half and has a very good climax. The editing is crisp thought some of the sequences could well be removed to shorted the movie. Sentiments have been narrated well.
Nagshekar has taken a lot of care in moulding the story. Screenplay by Preetam Gubbi could have been improved. Songs highly underrated have been shot well. Patra Bareyala is the best among the lot. Hats off to the brilliant lyrics by Kaviraj. The locales are extremely beatifull. Nanagu has Ganesh coming up with many new unexpected getups like Charlie Chaplin etc but does'nt have much significance in the script. Kolle is the suprise package. Long wait for the song but its worth.
Heroine Roma does justice to her role thought she does'nt have much to do. Tejaswini also does a small cameo as her sister. Tara,Avinash and Kari Basvayya do justice to their roles. But the captain of the ship is Ananth Nag and Ganesh of course.
Thought the movie starts off on a slow track it gains pace into the second half and gives a typical feel in the end. Trend of ending movies abruptly is the talk of the town and Aramane is no different. Looking at the previous success of Ganesh Aramane surely looks like a walk in the park and should rake in with the female audiences especially. Wheather the palace will maintain Ganesh's reputation as hot property in Sandalwood or not .. Only time will tell.
